Update on Ticket Sale Issues Regarding Leeds Ball

Due to technical issues tickets have been difficult for members to purchase today. 

We are aware that there have been issues with purchasing tickets today and we can only apologise for the difficulties this has caused. We understand this is a frustrating time for our members who are keen to celebrate the end of their exams.

 

Here are some FAQs to help troubleshoot any problems you may have experienced today:  

Has my payment gone through?

If you have gone through the payment process but don’t get a confirmation screen webpage or email then unfortunately on this occasion you have not been successful in getting a ticket. If you have an order number, please Facebook message us with it and we can check for you. 

 

Why are there no tickets left at early bird price?

We only have a limited number of discount tickets, so if you can only see general release prices, this means they have been snapped up. 

 

Can I re-sell my ticket?

We've appointed Twickets as our official ticket resale partner. 

Buying or selling tickets on any other platform is strictly prohibited.

Twickets is a fan-to-fan ticket resale platform where the price of tickets is never more than the original face value. Their marketplace enables fans and events to trade tickets at face value for gigs, festivals, sport, theatre & arts. Their mission is to counter secondary sites that price real fans out of attending as well as harming the event industry. Twickets fully protects its users with a guarantee against fraud and overpricing and serves to steer fans away from the exploitative secondary ticketing platforms. 
 
Sellers sell for free, and buyers pay a standard booking fee of 10% of the sold for ticket price. Users must have a PayPal account to sell, and buyers can purchase with all major debit / credit cards as well as PayPal.

I've been charged for a Leeds Ball ticket but haven't received a confirmation

Confirmation emails can take up to 24 hours to come through. If you'd like us to check if your payment has gone thought, please email LUU Events here with your name and order number.

 

Why am I getting 502 errors?

We’re experiencing an unprecedented amount of traffic due to the amount of unsuccessful payments going through our system. This has generated 502 pages which halts the process of buying a ticket for Leeds Ball.

 

I haven’t received my priority ticket link

If you feel you haven’t received the priority ticket link and you have signed up to the Leeds Ball mailing list before 4pm yesterday, we advise you check your junk and your clutter. All emails were sent through our mailing server successfully.

 

Will tickets go on general release? 

We are giving ticket purchasing priority to our mailing list. It will be unlikely that there will be tickets leftover for general release. 

  

I have bought a Leeds Ball ticket - does this mean I have to return it?

Of course not, any successful ticket sales will still be valid
