The fourth and final Better Forums of the year took place last week in Function; the Better Forums are how our members – that’s you – make changes across the Union, the Uni and the City. At each Forum a randomly selected student panel vote on the ideas they hear, and if they like them – they become policy for three years.
In total we had 12 ideas discussed by our reps and voted on by the panel; from making landlords provide burglar alarms, working with the UoL to become a University of Sanctuary through to electric Nightbus services and paperless submissions.
You can see the full outcomes and agendas here:
All of our Current Policy lives on our website here, and don’t forget you can submit your own ideas to Forum here. If you’ve got any questions you can always get in touch with our Student Led Change team on LUU.SLC@leeds.ac.uk.
The next round of Forums will be in the new academic year, with your new Exec and Reps.
