We’re looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Catering Team Leader to be responsible for the day to day operation of multiple catering outlets within LUU.

Do you have the ability to nurture, lead and develop a team of staff and trainee managers? If so we want to hear from you.

The Catering Team Leader needs to have the drive and passion to develop a junior team of trainee managers within LUU’s three catering outlets. You’d be coaching and leading the team to deliver a consistent and high standard of service.

Can you shape and deliver the future? If you are innovative with a determination to succeed then we want to hear from you.

Working with the Catering Development Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that the team is constantly developing, well trained in product knowledge and delivering excellent customer service. This includes operational and strategic planning and delivering LUU’s values.

We’re looking for a candidate who is innovative and proactive in the delivery of new trends, who is digitally focused and driven to develop the outlets year on year.

Do you have an eye for detail and delivering great customer service? Then you are exactly what we are looking for.

Along with running the outlets, you will play a lead role in the delivery of LUU’s conferencing catering; supporting the delivery and customer service as well being a key contact for client liaison on the day.

Each outlet has an individual budget and part of this role is to deliver on the targets set, whilst still delivering a great student experience and great value for money. You will listen to student feedback and actively seek their opinions to develop the outlets further.

Could you be our next leader of the Catering team?

We offer 26 days’ holiday (plus generous statutory and customary closure days) and a pension scheme.

In your application, please explain how you meet the person specification and what you can bring to the team here at LUU.

Closing date: 9am Monday 17 June 2019
Interviews:  Friday 28 June 2019

LUU is committed to equality and valuing diversity within its employees. We particularly welcome applications from ethnic minority candidates who are currently underrepresented at this level in LUU.
